Senior Project Manager

Microsoft is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Industry Solutions Business Excellence – Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project and portfolio governance, coordinating delivery teams, monitoring financial performance, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring projects meet quality, compliance, and business objectives. Key responsibilities include overseeing project portfolios, managing budgets and forecasts, identifying and resolving risks, preparing executive reports and dashboards, coordinating with senior stakeholders, and driving continuous process improvements. The role also involves promoting automation and AI-enabled solutions using technologies such as Microsoft Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and Copilot. Candidates should have strong project and program management experience, financial governance expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience working with multidisciplinary teams on complex technology or AI-related initiatives. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required, along with at least 10 years of professional experience and 4 years in project management.
