Senior Systems Developer

Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring a **Senior Systems Developer (Developer III)** for a full-time, permanent remote position supporting the Clarity PPM platform. The role involves providing Level 3 technical support, resolving complex production incidents, developing and maintaining application enhancements, managing integrations, troubleshooting application performance issues, and supporting upgrades, patches, releases, and production deployments. Responsibilities include designing technical solutions, developing GEL scripts, NSQL queries, SQL components, XOG integrations, REST APIs, XML integrations, reports, workflows, and custom Clarity functionality. The selected candidate will also lead root-cause analysis, coordinate with infrastructure teams and vendors, maintain technical documentation, support SOX compliance, and mentor junior developers and application administrators. Applicants must have an **advanced degree with at least 3 years of professional experience or a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of professional software development experience**. Strong hands-on experience with Clarity PPM, SQL, GEL scripting, NSQL, XOG, REST APIs, Oracle or SQL Server, Linux, and Apache Tomcat is required. Candidates must be willing to work night shifts, participate in on-call support, and assist with planned weekend maintenance. The India working hours are **5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST**.
